The Larned Indians's road trip will continue as they head out to face the Halstead Dragons at 7:30 p.m. on February 2nd. The matchup should be an exciting one, as these teams are closely ranked in Kansas (Larned is ranked 266th, while the Dragons are ranked 277th).
Last Tuesday, Larned was just a bucket shy of victory and fell 54-53 to the Panthers.
Meanwhile, Halstead came up short against the Panthers on Thursday and fell 64-53. Halstead has now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.
Larned has not been sharp recently as the team's lost three of their last four games, which put a noticeable dent in their 2-9-2 record this season. As for Halstead, their defeat dropped their record down to 3-10.
Larned couldn't quite finish off the Dragons when the teams last played back in February of 2023 and fell 37-34. Can Larned avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
