Springbrook pushed their score all the way to 80 on Monday, but even that wasn't enough to win. They fell just short of Sherwood by a score of 83-80.
Meanwhile, Blake came tearing into Monday's match with six straight wins (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 22.3 points) and they left with even more momentum. They took down Paint Branch 54-40. Despite the win, that was the fewest points Blake has scored all season.
Springbrook's loss dropped their record down to 9-7. As for Blake, their victory bumped their record up to 10-4.
Springbrook was able to grind out a solid win over Blake when the teams last played back in January, winning 65-55. Does Springbrook have another victory up their sleeve, or will Blake turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
