On Friday, Azle Christian came up short against Inspired Vision and fell 56-47. Azle Christian has now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.
Inspired Vision's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Tyree Sheffield, who scored 29 points. The contest was Sheffield's 12th in a row with at least ten points. Gabriel Kalala was another key contributor, scoring 18 points.
Azle Christian's loss was their third straight on the road, which bumped their record down to 2-6. As for Inspired Vision, their win ended a five-game drought at home dating back to last season and bumped them up to 2-10.
Azle Christian is on the road again on Saturday and play against Rio Vista at 9:00 a.m. on December 16th. Inspired Vision and Aquilla will face off at 6:00 p.m. on December 15th without much rest after finishing up games yesterday.
