Meadowcreek's lost despite a true team effort on the offense, the best among them being Daron Sturdivant, who scored 13 points along with 5 rebounds. The game was Sturdivant's fifth in a row with at least ten points. Damari Wright was another key contributor, dropping a double-double on 13 points and 10 rebounds.
Norcross' win bumped their record up to 2-3. As for Meadowcreek, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 3-4.
Norcross will look to defend their home court on Saturday against Douglass at 4:15 p.m. Douglass presents a significant challenge as they come into the match much higher ranked than Norcross in Georgia (Douglass is ranked 89th, while Norcross is ranked 235th). As for Meadowcreek, they will head out on the road to face off against Duluth at 7:30 p.m. on Friday.
