The Frankton Eagles can now show off nine landslide victories after their most recent contest on Thursday. They took their game on the road with ease, bagging a 75-14 victory over Tipton. For those curious, yes, that was the biggest win Frankton has managed all season.
Frankton was led to victory by Emma Sperry and Amaya Collins. Sperry scored 24 points along with eight rebounds and two steals, while Collins went 6 for 8 from beyond the arc en route to 31 points and 1 assist. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Collins has scored all season. The team also got some help courtesy of Emma Key, who scored 14 points along with five steals.
Frankton's victory bumped their record up to 12-6. As for Tipton, they still haven't won a game yet this season and fell to 0-18.
Frankton will be playing at home against Madison-Grant at 7:30 p.m. on Saturday. Madison-Grant will have to bring their A-game into this one, as they are staring down a pretty big deficit in the MaxPreps Indiana Rankings (they are ranked 306th, while Frankton is ranked 122nd). As for Tipton, they will head out on the road to challenge Hamilton Heights at 1:30 p.m. on Saturday. Hamilton Heights will be looking to extend their current seven-game winning streak.
