The Vallivue Falcons's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Wednesday after their sixth straight loss. They took a serious blow against Emmett, falling 58-12. The result shouldn't come as a shock considering that's the fewest points Vallivue has scored all season.
Despite the loss, Vallivue still got an impressive performance from Paige Upson, who scored four points along with three steals.
Emmett's win was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Natalie Goslin, who scored 18 points along with seven rebounds and two steals. Another player making a difference was Erin Hadley, who dropped a double-double on ten points and ten steals.
Vallivue dropped their record down to 3-15 with that defeat, which was their sixth straight on the road. That rough patch could be blamed on the team's offensive performance across that stretch, as they only averaged 22.8 points per game. As for Emmett, the win makes it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 9-12.
Vallivue does not have any more games scheduled as of now. Emmett also has no future games currently scheduled.
