Having struggled with four losses in a row, Peachtree Academy turned things around against Faith Christian Academy on Friday. Everything went their way against Faith Christian Academy as they made off with a 65-41 victory. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest win the Panthers have posted since February 1, 2024.
Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Peachtree Academy to victory, but perhaps none more so than Caleb Jackson, who went 12 for 24 on his way to 31 points. Jackson continues to improve, besting his previous point total in each of the last four games he's played. Another player making a difference was Liam Abraham, who went 5 of 12 en route to 16 points in addition to six assists and five boards.
Meanwhile, Alleluia Community played a tough game on Saturday in which they were outscored in every quarter. They had to suffer through a 86-45 loss at the hands of Coastal HomeSchool. The Angels were down 61-29 at the end of the third quarter, and things only got worse from there.
Alleluia Community now has a losing record at 9-10. As for Peachtree Academy, their victory ended a six-game drought on the road and puts them at 5-12.
