With a playoff win on the line, North Rockland rose to the challenge on Monday. They narrowly escaped with a victory as the squad sidled past the Ossining Pride 66-63. The Raiders' offense stepped up their game for this one, as that was the most points they've scored all season.

Despite the defeat, Ossining had strong showings from Claire Schnecker, who dropped a double-double with 24 points and 11 rebounds, and Saniya Bell, who dropped a double-double with 23 points and 13 boards. That was a full 38.1% of Ossining's points, marking the third time in a row Schnecker has posted more than a third of the team's points. Another player making a difference was Sophia Torrieri, who put up seven points along with six assists and five boards.

North Rockland's win bumped their record up to 6-9. As for Ossining, their loss dropped their record down to 16-5.
