After a string of 12 wins, Andrews Academy's good fortune finally ran out on Tuesday. They fell to Victory Christian Academy 35-30.
Andrews Academy's defeat shouldn't obscure the performances of Audrey Simpson, who scored 12 points along with two steals, and Havvah Schnepp who scored 12 points.
Victory Christian Academy was led to victory by Amariah Jankowski and Ellen Penner. Jankowski scored 19 points along with three steals, while Penner scored 11 points along with five assists and five rebounds. It was the first time this season that Jankowski scored 15 or more points.
Andrews Academy's loss dropped their record down to 14-4. As for Victory Christian Academy, they pushed their record up to 7-10 with that victory, which was their fourth straight at home.
