Driskill scored a full 27.3% of Blue River Valley's points, the second time in a row she's earned more than a third of the team's points. The team also got some help courtesy of Charlee Gibson, who scored 15 points along with 6 rebounds.
Wapahani found their leader in underclassman Emily Luce, who scored 12 points. That makes it two consecutive games in which Luce has scored at least 25% of Wapahani's points. Maddie Jefferson was another key contributor, scoring 4 points along with 5 rebounds and 3 steals.
Blue River Valley's loss dropped their record down to 3-2. As for Wapahani, their win was their fourth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 5-1.
Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Blue River Valley will take on Knightstown at 7:30 p.m. on December 7th. The matchup should be an exciting one, as these teams are ranked near one another in Indiana (Knightstown is ranked 240th, while Blue River Valley is ranked 226th). As for Wapahani, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Cambridge City Lincoln at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday. Cambridge City Lincoln is coming into the matchup on a three-game losing streak.
