Freeport has been on the road for two straight, but on Saturday they'll finally head home. They will be home for the holidays to greet the Yarmouth Clippers at 12:00 p.m. The matchup should be an exciting one, as these teams are ranked near one another in Maine (Freeport is ranked 42nd, while Yarmouth is ranked 50th).
Last Tuesday, Freeport didn't have too much breathing room in their matchup against Biddeford, but they still walked away with a 45-41 win.
Meanwhile, Yarmouth might have been a little too into the holiday spirit, gifting Oceanside an easy 55-34 win.
Freeport's win was their fourth straight on the road dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 3-1. Those good results were due in large part to their offensive dominance across that stretch, as they averaged 55.0 points per game. As for Yarmouth, their loss dropped their record down to 2-2.
Freeport strolled past Yarmouth when the teams last played back in January by a score of 59-41. Does Freeport have another victory up their sleeve, or will Yarmouth turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
