Crescenta Valley came into Thursday's contest having lost five straight, but that streak is now in the rearview. They blew past the Taft Toreadors 3-0 on Thursday. The Falcons not only won on Thursday, but they posted their biggest win since February 19th.

While Crescenta Valley won a shutout, things came down to the wire in the first set they played. The final score came out to 25-23, 25-19, 25-19.

Crescenta Valley now has a winning record of 8-7. As for Taft, they moved to 7-4 with that loss, which also ended their four-game winning streak.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Crescenta Valley will face off against Burbank at 5:15 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Taft, they will challenge Birmingham at 4:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
