The Windham Bombers lost against the Mogadore Wildcats back in November of 2022, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Monday. Windham's tough 59-35 loss to the Wildcats might stick with them for a while. The defeat unfortunately continues a disappointing trend for Windham in their matchups with the Wildcats: they've now lost four in a row.
Mogadore's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Amelia Morris, who dropped a double-double on 11 points and 13 rebounds. Morris hasn't dropped below eight rebounds for seven straight games. The team also got some help courtesy of Ari Tompkins, who scored seven points along with eight steals and six rebounds.
Windham's loss dropped their record down to 9-7. As for Mogadore, they have been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four contests, which provided a massive bump to their 8-10 record this season.
Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Windham won't have much time to rest: their next game is against the Wildcats at 5:30 p.m. on January 30th. Chalker has now lost seven straight, and the team is hunting for their first win since November 30. As for Mogadore, they will head out on the road to square off against the Knights at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Hopefully Aquinas focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up 33 on Monday.
