Di Vinci Guthrie got back to being his usual excellent self, as he rushed for 175 yards and three touchdowns on only 11 carries. Da?Mareae Landry was another key contributor, rushing for 152 yards on only 11 carries.
Meanwhile, Bernstein was fully in charge on Friday, breezing past Contreras 50-19 at home. The game was pretty much decided by the half, when the score had already reached 30-7.
Their wins lifted both teams to an identical 7-2.
