The Upper Perkiomen Indians will face off against the Boyertown Bears at 4:00  p.m.  on Wednesday. Upper Perkiomen's pitching crew has only allowed 3.8  runs per game  this season, so Boyertown's hitters will have their work cut out for them.
Upper Perkiomen will roll into the  contest after a wild two-game stretch: they didn't score any  runs  on Thursday, then bounced right back against Pottstown  on Tuesday. The Indians put the hurt on the Trojans with a sharp  13-2 win. The Indians haven't had any issues with the Trojans recently, as the game was their ninth consecutive  victory against them.
 Grayson Sabo made a splash no matter where he played. On the mound, he  struck out seven batters over  five innings while giving up just one earned  (and one unearned) run off   one  hit. Sabo was also big at the plate,  going 3-for-4 with three  RBI and one  double. That  double marked the first that  he  hit this season.

 In other batting news, Upper Perkiomen let  Jordin Dice and  Jack Rieg run wild. Dice  scored three  runs and  stole two bases while  getting on base  in four of his five plate appearances, while  Rieg  scored two  runs while going 2-for-4. Those  two  stolen bases gave  Dice a new career-high. Another player making a difference was  Brayden Adam, who  scored a  run while going 2-for-3.
 Upper Perkiomen  kept the outfield on their toes and  finished the game with 13  hits. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Pottstown only managed four  hits.
Meanwhile,  there's no place like home for Boyertown, who bounced back after a  loss on the road  on Thursday. They never let Daniel Boone get on the board and left with  a   5-0  win  on Friday. The  victory was a breath of fresh air for the Bears as it put an end to their three-game losing streak.
 Christian Tonini tossed a big game,   not allowing a single  earned run over five innings pitched.
 At the plate,  Nick Ellis was  excellent,  scoring two  runs and  stealing a base while  getting on base  in both of his plate appearances.
 Upper Perkiomen's win bumped their record up to 5-3. As for Boyertown, their victory bumped their record up to 2-5.
 Upper Perkiomen took their  win against Boyertown  when the teams last played  back in April of 2024 by a conclusive  8-1 score. Will the Indians repeat their success,  or do  the Bears have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
