Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Normandy). They blew past the Garrett Morgan Falcons 66-45 on Thursday. That result was just more of the same for these two, as the Invaders also won the last time the pair played back in February of 2023.

Garrett Morgan's defeat shouldn't obscure the performances of Darrius Chappell, who posted nine points and eight rebounds, and Isiah Hickman, who put up 12 points. Chappell has been hot recently, having posted eight or more boards the last three times he's played. Another player making a difference was Charles Earnest, who had six points and 11 rebounds.

The win got Normandy back to even at 2-2. As for Garrett Morgan, with the loss, they broke their four-game winning streak and moved their record to 4-1.

Normandy wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next matchup, a 63-45 defeat against Valley Forge on the 13th. As for Garrett Morgan, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 91-82 victory against Chardon on the 16th.
