Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask New Lothrop). They were the clear victors by a 43-20 margin over the Lakeville Falcons on Friday. The Hornets haven't had any issues with the Falcons recently, as the game was their sixth consecutive victory against them.
New Lothrop found their leader in freshman Marcellus Childress, who rushed for 149 yards and a pair of TDs on only nine carries, and also caught one touchdown.

Despite the loss, Lakeville still got an impressive performance from George Gavan, who rushed for 101 yards and one score on only eight carries. Randy Loewen was another key player, rushing for 79 yards and one TD.
New Lothrop's win bumped their record up to 5-1. As for Lakeville, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-4.
