Redmond and Inglemoor are an even 5-5 against one another since March of 2016, but likely not for long. The Mustangs will look to defend their home field on Friday against the Vikings at 6:00 p.m. Both come into the game bolstered by wins in their previous matches.
On Wednesday, Redmond beat Bellevue 7-2.
Hiroshi Johnson tossed a big game, not allowing a single earned run over five innings pitched. He has been consistent recently: he hasn't given up more than two walks in four consecutive appearances.

On the hitting side, Cavin Bowmer was excellent, scoring a run and stealing a base while going 1-for-2. The dominant performance also gave him a new career-high in RBI (three). Another player making a difference was Chase Lawson, who scored two runs while getting on base in two of his four plate appearances.
Meanwhile, winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Inglemoor). They blew past Interlake 24-2 on Wednesday. While the Vikings didn't have the best season last year (they finished 7-14-1), it's starting to look like those struggles are a thing of the past.
Inglemoor also got a great performance from Brody Ledger as he struck out six batters over five innings while giving up just two earned runs off three hits (and only one walk).
At the plate, Connor Dowell was a standout: he went a perfect 3-for-3 with three runs, four RBI, and one triple. Braedan Howe was another key player, scoring four runs and stealing two bases while getting on base in all four of his plate appearances.
Inglemoor always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .667. They are a perfect 4-0 when they post an OBP of .513 or better.
Redmond's win bumped their record up to 4-6. As for Inglemoor, their victory bumped their record up to 6-3.
Redmond might still be hurting after the 6-0 defeat they got from Inglemoor in their previous matchup back in April of 2024. Will the Mustangs have more luck at home instead of on the road? Come back here after the game to get an analysis of the match and other baseball content.
