Land O' Lakes had to endure a five-game losing streak, but that streak is no more. They enjoyed a cozy 20-6 victory over Sunlake on Friday. The win was just what Land O' Lakes needed coming off of a 23-0 loss in their prior game.
Mason Clarke and Cody Gwinn were among the main playmakers for Land O' Lakes as the former rushed for 64 yards and a touchdown on only eight carries and the latter rushed for 156 yards and a touchdown.
Meanwhile, Wiregrass Ranch entered their tilt with Booker with five consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with six. Wiregrass Ranch came out on top against Booker by a score of 30-21 on Friday.
Wiregrass Ranch had a senior duo take command as Jeremiah Julmiste gained 141 total yards and two touchdowns and Luke Knight threw for 263 yards and two touchdowns.
Land O' Lakes' win bumped their record up to 3-5. As for Wiregrass Ranch, their victory was their sixth straight at home, bumping their overall record up to 7-1.
