Abington Friends pushed their score all the way to 69 on Tuesday, but even that wasn't enough to win. They took a hard 83-69 fall against Friends' Central. Abington Friends has not had much luck with Friends' Central recently, as the team's come up short the last three times they've met.
It was another big night for Fazl Oshodi, who scored 26 points for Friends' Central. Oshodi has been hot recently, having posted 15 or more points the last four times he's played. The team also got some help courtesy of Pat Feamster, who scored 15 points.
Abington Friends has traveled a rocky road recently, as they've lost eight of their last ten games, which put a noticeable dent in their 4-10 record this season. As for Friends' Central, their win bumped their record up to 13-4.
Abington Friends will be playing in front of their home fans against Friends Select at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Friends' Central will be staying on the road on Friday to face off against Germantown Friends at 7:00 p.m. on January 26th. Germantown Friends will have to bring their A-game into this one, as they are staring down a pretty big deficit in the MaxPreps Pennsylvania Rankings (they are ranked 332nd, while Friends' Central is ranked 28th).
