Oxbridge Academy managed a 64-60 win over Greenacres Christian. That result was just more of the same for these two, as Oxbridge Academy also won the last time the pair played back in January.
Oxbridge Academy's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from James DeYoung, who scored 18 points along with 3 steals. The team also got some help courtesy of Edmyer St Jean, who scored 13 points along with 4 steals.
Despite the loss, Greenacres Christian still got an impressive performance from Joshua Barthelamy , who dropped a double-double on 18 points and 13 rebounds. Barthelamy scored a full 30% of Greenacres Christian's points, the fourth time in a row he's earned more than a third of the team's points. Corey Antoine was another key contributor, scoring 12 points along with 7 assists and 3 steals.
Oxbridge Academy's win bumped their record up to 1-2. As for Greenacres Christian, they still haven't won a game yet this season and fell to 0-4.
Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Oxbridge Academy will square off against King's Academy at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Greenacres Christian is on the road again on Monday and play against Morningside Academy at 7:30 p.m. on December 4th.
