Despite the defeat, Franklin Learning Center saw an underclassman step up: Kadeem Martin scored 15 points along with 4 blocks. Martin scored a full 30.6% of Franklin Learning Center's points, the second time in a row he's earned more than a third of the team's points. Another player making a difference was Keymir Hargrove, who scored 10 points.
The victory got Nueva Esperanza back to even at 1-1. As for Franklin Learning Center, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 0-2.

As for Franklin Learning Center, they will be playing at home against Parkway Center City at 3:15 p.m. on Monday. One thing working in Parkway Center City's favor is that they have posted big point totals every time they've taken the court this season.
