The King & Queen Central Royal Tigers scored the most points they've had all season to find success on Tuesday. They simply couldn't be stopped as they easily beat Mathews 50-16 at home. Perhaps unsurprisinly given the team's high-flying offense, the game also marked the team's biggest win of the season.
Janiya Brown went supernova for King & Queen Central, scoring 21 points. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Brown has scored all season. The team also got some help courtesy of Amelia Moaney, who scored 13 points.
King & Queen Central has been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 10-8 record this season. As for Mathews, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 5-18.
Coincidentally, both teams will both be playing Charles City the next time they take the court. King & Queen Central will head out to face Charles City at 6:15 p.m. on Thursday, while Mathews will host them at 6:15 p.m. on Friday.
