Elk Grove lost despite a true team effort on the offense, the best among them being Vinny Gonzales, who scored 18 points along with five rebounds. The team also got some help courtesy of Liam Acido, who scored ten points along with three steals and two blocks.
Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Davis Sr. to victory, but perhaps none more so than Aidan Crawford, who scored 21 points. Kaleb Gee was another key contributor, scoring 12 points along with five rebounds.
Elk Grove has traveled a rocky road recently having lost five of their last six matchups, which put a noticeable dent in their 9-14 record this season. As for Davis Sr., their victory ended a five-game drought on the road and puts them at 7-14.
Elk Grove will be playing at home against the Wolfpack at 7:30 p.m. on Wednesday. Hopefully Cosumnes Oaks focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up 27 on Friday. As for Davis Sr., they will head out on the road to face off against the Huskies at 7:30 p.m. on Wednesday. Sheldon has been dominant on offense recently, as they've racked up an incredible 441 points over their last six matches.
