Webster will take on North Border [Eureka/Bowdle/Leola/Frederick] at home on Thursday. Webster are expected to win -- but not by much -- so they will need to come into the matchup prepared for a fight.
Last Friday, Webster put the finishing touches on their 6th blowout victory of the season. They steamrollered Wilmot/Waubay/Summit 46-8. Junior Coby Reetz was the offensive standout of the match for Webster, as he rushed for 68 yards and 2 touchdowns. Reetz has now scored at least one touchdown in the past five games.
Meanwhile, things haven't been easy for North Border [Eureka/Bowdle/Leola/Frederick], and their contest last Friday only extended their streak of losses to four. They were dealt a punishing 0-40 defeat at the hands of Warner.
Webster's victory lifted them to 6-2 while North Border [Eureka/Bowdle/Leola/Frederick]'s loss dropped them down to 4-4. We'll find out if Webster can add another positive mark to their record or if North Border [Eureka/Bowdle/Leola/Frederick] can shake off the loss and take the spring out of Webster's step.
