Kale Breeden gave up the fewest earned runs he has since back in April on Tuesday. He didn't allow a single earned run and allowed only one hit while striking out six over four innings pitched, good enough for us to rate the performance as the best he's had all season long. He also tossed no earned runs, which is notable because Mercer County is 3-1 when he allows at most one earned run, but 9-15 otherwise.

Coming up, Breeden and Mercer County will welcome Geneseo at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday. The last time these two faced off, Breeden and Co. were forced to settle for a 15-0 loss.
