After a string of three wins, the Windsor Charter Academy Firebirds's good fortune finally ran out on Tuesday. They took a 42-28 bruising from Skyline.
Morgan Kimmi was Windsor Charter Academy's leading scorer, having posted seven points. Kimmi also led the team in rebounds with 11.
Skyline was led to victory by Aniah Dothard and Aiyana Dothard. Dothard scored 9 points along with 7 rebounds and 5 steals, while Dothard dropped a double-double on 12 points and 10 rebounds. Charlotte Manes was another key contributor, scoring 10 points along with 8 rebounds and 5 steals.
Windsor Charter Academy's loss dropped their record down to 3-1. As for Skyline, the victory got them back to even at 1-1.
Coincidentally, the two teams will both be playing Lyons the next time they take the court. Skyline will head out to face Lyons at 8:00 p.m. on Monday, while Windsor Charter Academy will head out to face them at 8:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
