On Friday Peotone take on Herscher at 7:00 PM. Peotone have seen their point totals decreasing over the past three games, a vulnerability Herscher are surely hoping to exploit.
Peotone ended up a good deal behind Plano when they played last Friday, losing 13-33. Peotone got a solid performance out of senior Ryan Brewer, who rushed for 160 yards and 1 touchdown; unfortunately, it just wasn't enough for the win. Brewer has been a consistent playmaker for Peotone as this was the 6th good game in a row from him.
Meanwhile, there's no need to mince words: Herscher lost to Wilmington, and they lost bad. The score wound up at 28-63. Herscher were in a tough position by the half, with the score sitting at 14-35.
With both teams hitting sour notes in their previous games, they will no doubt be looking to produce a better outcome in this one. We'll see which team satisfies their hunger and which team leaves with an empty stomach.
