The Forest City Foresters lost a heartbreaker when they last took the court, but unfortunately for them the loss they were handed on on Monday was a bit more commanding. They were outmatched by Mid Valley on the road and fell 67-28. Forest City has struggled against Mid Valley recently, as their contest on Monday was their fourth consecutive lost matchup.
Demaja Dunston continued his habit of posting crazy stat lines for Mid Valley, scoring 20 points along with three steals. Richard Vinansky was another key contributor, scoring ten points along with two steals.
Forest City dropped their record down to 4-15 with that loss, which was their fifth straight on the road. As for Mid Valley, they are on a roll lately: they've won six of their last eight matches, which provided a nice bump to their 12-7 record this season.
Forest City will be playing at home against Blue Ridge at 6:45 p.m. on Thursday. Blue Ridge will roll in looking for their fourth straight win, something Forest City surely won't give up without a fight. As for Mid Valley, they will head out on the road to take on Riverside at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. Hopefully Mid Valley focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up seven on Monday.
