The Northwest Knights won the last time they faced DePaul Cristo Rey, and things went their way  on Wednesday too. Northwest came out on top against DePaul Cristo Rey by a score of  43-32. The  win made it back-to-back wins for Northwest.
  Jazmin Tubbs and  Angelina Armstead certainly did their best on Wednesday to try and avoid the loss.  Tubbs  dropped  a double-double on 12 points and 11  rebounds, while  Armstead  scored six points along with five  rebounds and three  blocks. Those 12 points set a new season-high mark for her.
 Northwest now  has a winning record of 5-4. As for DePaul Cristo Rey, their defeat  ended  an  11-game streak of wins at home  dating back to last season and  dropped them to 6-3.
 Both  teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Northwest will  square off against Dunbar at 12:30  p.m.  on Saturday. As for DePaul Cristo Rey, they will head out on the road to face off against Cincinnati College Prep Academy at 6:00  p.m.  on Friday.
