Dongola was not able to break out of their rough patch  on Tuesday as the team picked up their fifth straight  loss. They wound up on the wrong side of a  rough 8-0 walloping at the hands of the Century Centurions. The shutout was out of character for Dongola seeing as the last time the team failed to score was  back in March.
 For Century's part,  the result came thanks to  Ashton Dillow's shutout, as she gave up just two  hits.
 At the plate,  Hayden Anderson was a standout: she went 3-for-4 with two  stolen bases, three  RBI,  and two  runs. She has been hot recently, having posted  at least one  stolen base the last four times she's  played. The team also got some help courtesy of  Karleigh Jones, who  scored two  runs and  stole three bases while  getting on base  in all four of her plate appearances.
 Dongola's defeat dropped their record down to 1-5. As for Century, the  win (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 4-5.
 Dongola will head out on the road to  square off against  Cobden at 4:30  p.m.  on Wednesday. As for Century, they will be playing at home against Egyptian at 4:30  p.m.  on Thursday.
