Clay Eckstein made a big impact while hitting and pitching. He looked comfortable on the mound, tossing 6.1 innings while giving up four earned runs off five hits. Eckstein was also big at the plate, going 1-for-3 with one stolen base, one run, and one RBI. That stolen base marked the first that he has snagged this season.
