Halifax Academy was outmatched by Melbourne Central Catholic on the road and fell 37-0. Halifax Academy has not had much luck with Melbourne Central Catholic recently, as the team's come up short the last two times they've met.
Melbourne Central Catholic's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Brian Oesterle, who rushed for 129 yards and a touchdown on only eight carries. Oesterle's longest rush was for an incredible 75 yards. Ramel Hernandez was in the mix too, providing Melbourne Central Catholic with two touchdowns.
Halifax Academy's loss dropped their record down to 7-3. As for Melbourne Central Catholic, the win was the seventh in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 9-2.
Halifax Academy does not have any more games scheduled as of now. Melbourne Central Catholic will look to defend their home field on Friday against Trinity Catholic at 7:30 p.m. Trinity Catholic is hoping to put an end to a four-game streak of away losses.
