The ITW David Speer Academy Pride will venture away from home to challenge the Noble Street College Prep Golden Tigers at 3:00 p.m. on Sunday. ITW David Speer Academy will aim to continue their three-game streak of scoring more runs each contest than the last.
ITW David Speer Academy let Prosser stack nine runs on them in the third inning on Tuesday but luckily ITW David Speer Academy prevailed anyway. The Pride came out on top against the Falcons by a score of 14-10.

Brandon Leon and Chris Rios did most of the damage at the plate: Leon went 2-for-3 with two runs and two RBI, while Rios got on base in all three of his plate appearances with two stolen bases and two runs. Those two hits gave Leon a new career-high. Marco Ortiz was another key player, going 1-for-2 with one triple, one stolen base, and one RBI.
ITW David Speer Academy always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .625. The team's really been improving in that area: they've now improved their OBP total in three consecutive matches.
Meanwhile, it's playoff time, and Noble Street College Prep had no trouble coming through when it counted. They put the hurt on Rauner with a sharp 21-3 victory on Saturday. The game marked the Golden Tigers' most dominant win of the season.
Juan Juarez was a major factor while hitting and pitching. He struck out ten batters over 4.1 innings while giving up just one earned (and one unearned) run off three hits. He has been consistent: he hasn't tossed less than five strikeouts in six consecutive appearances. He was also big at the plate, going a perfect 3-for-3 with four RBI, two doubles, and one run. He is becoming a predictor of Noble Street College Prep's success: when he posts at least three hits the team is undefeated (and 6-7 when he doesn't).
In other batting news, Noble Street College Prep got a massive performance out of Alexander Bonilla, who went a perfect 3-for-3 with three stolen bases, three runs, and two RBI. Bonilla has been hot recently, having posted at least one stolen base the last three times he's played. Another player making a difference was T'Shawn Chester, who got on base in all four of his plate appearances with four runs, two stolen bases, and one RBI.
The victory made it two in a row for Noble Street College Prep and bumps their season record up to 9-7. The wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered a grand total of 6 runs in those games. As for ITW David Speer Academy, their record now sits at 11-9.
Sunday's contest might come down to which pitcher can control the ball better. ITW David Speer Academy has hit smart this season, having averaged an OBP of .480. However, it's not like Noble Street College Prep struggles in that department as they've averaged .478.
