The Dysart Demons won the last time they faced the Paradise Honors Panthers, and things went their way on Thursday too. Dysart walked away with a 61-50 victory over Paradise Honors. The win made it back-to-back wins for Dysart.
Dysart's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Nigel Anderson, who scored 18 points along with nine rebounds and three blocks. Anderson is on a roll when it comes to points, as he's now scored 15 or more in the last five games he's played. Nate Morales was another key contributor, scoring 16 points along with seven rebounds and two steals.
Despite the loss, Paradise Honors saw an underclassman step up: Tj Harris scored 21 points. Harris hasn't dropped below 15points for 16 straight games. The team also got some help courtesy of David Leszczynski, who scored 14 points.
Dysart is on a roll lately: they've won 11 of their last 12 matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 13-3 record this season. As for Paradise Honors, their defeat ended a four-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 11-8.
Dysart will be staying on the road on Wednesday to face off against Tempe at 7:00 p.m. on January 10th. Tempe will have to bring their A-game into this one, as they are staring down a pretty big deficit in the MaxPreps Arizona Rankings (they are ranked 231st, while Dysart is ranked 44th). As for Paradise Honors, they will stay at home for another game and welcome Thunderbird at 7:00 p.m. on January 11th.
