The Pymatuning Valley Lakers scored the most points they've had all season to find success on Friday. They put the hurt on Mathews with a sharp 81-57 victory. Pymatuning Valley has made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won four matchups by 24 points or more this season.
It was another big night for Blake Krznaric, who dropped a double-double on 23 points and ten rebounds. He is on a roll when it comes to points, as he's now scored 15 or more in the last three games he's played. Zane Neczeporenko was another key contributor, almost dropping a triple-double on 13 points, nine rebounds, and nine assists.
Pymatuning Valley pushed their record up to 9-3 with that win, which was their fourth straight on the road. Those victories were due in large part to their offensive dominance across that stretch, as they averaged 72.5 points per game. As for Mathews, their loss dropped their record down to 8-3.
Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Pymatuning Valley will be staying on the road on Friday to face off against Chalker at 7:00 p.m. on January 19th. As for Mathews, they will square off against Maplewood at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Hopefully Maplewood focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up 25 on Friday.
