Saint Andrew's kept the outfield on their toes and finished the game with 11 hits. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as NSU University only managed four hits.
Meanwhile, Westminster Christian beat Chaminade-Madonna 7-2 on Thursday. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Warriors.
Milan Porras tossed a big game, tossing 4.1 innings while giving up just one earned run off four hits. He has been nothing but reliable on the mound: he hasn't given up more than one walk any time he's pitched this season.
On the hitting side, Westminster Christian's victory was truly a team effort as six different players contributed at least one hit. One of them was James Suarez, who went 3-for-4 with two doubles, one run, and one RBI. Another was Lucas Argudin, who went 1-for-2 with one run and one RBI.
Westminster Christian's win was their eighth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 17-11-1. The home victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 8.1 runs over those games. As for Saint Andrew's, their win bumped their record up to 18-6.
