Bloomfield suffered their closest loss yet this season on Saturday. They fell just short of South Knox by a score of 49-47.
After soaring to a 47-point win in their last game, Loogootee came back down to earth last Friday. They fell just short of Barr-Reeve by a score of 43-41. It was the first time this season that Loogootee let down their fans at home.
Bloomfield's defeat was their fourth straight at home, which bumped their record down to 8-6. As for Loogootee, their loss ended a 14-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 9-5.
Bloomfield strolled past Loogootee in their previous matchup back in January of 2023 by a score of 53-39. The rematch might be a little tougher for Bloomfield since the team won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
