The Christ the Cornerstone Academy Defenders stacked a ninth blowout win onto their ever-increasing hoard on Tuesday. They blew past Temple Christian, posting a 57-30 victory at home. The win made it back-to-back wins for Christ the Cornerstone Academy.
Leading Christ the Cornerstone Academy to victory were MICAH WYCKOFF and WILL JACKSON. WYCKOFF scored 13 points along with five rebounds, while JACKSON almost dropped a double-double on 20 points and nine rebounds. WYCKOFF continues to roll, besting his previous point total in each of the last three games he's played. The team also got some help courtesy of DOMINIC GAGNON, who scored eight points along with five rebounds.
Christ the Cornerstone Academy is on a roll lately: they've won 11 of their last 12 contests, which provided a nice bump to their 13-4 record this season. As for Temple Christian, their loss dropped their record down to 8-5.
Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Christ the Cornerstone Academy will face off against the Wildcats at 5:30 p.m. on Friday. Grace Christian is coming into the game on a three-game losing streak. Temple Christian will be staying on the road on Thursday to face off against the Cougars at 5:00 p.m. on February 1st. Cornerstone Christian Academy will be looking to keep their seven-game home win streak alive.
