The Telstar Rebels will head out on the road to challenge the Carrabec Cobras at 4:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Carrabec took a loss in their last game and will be looking to turn the tables on Telstar, who comes in off a win.
Telstar's pitching crew heads into the contest hoping to repeat the dominance they displayed on Thursday. They put the hurt on Forest Hills with a sharp 11-0 win. The victory continues a trend for the Rebels in their matchups with the Tigers: they've now won four in a row.
The result came thanks to Brennan Walker's shutout, as he gave up just a hit and racked up 15 Ks.

On the hitting side, Michael Early was incredible, getting on base in all four of his plate appearances with three stolen bases, three runs, and two RBI. Those three runs gave him a new career-high. The team also got some help courtesy of Bryson Walker, who went 3-for-5 with one stolen base, two RBI, and one run.
Valley hit Carrabec with a eight-run seventh inning on Thursday, which goes a long way in explaining the final result. The Cobras came up short against the Cavaliers, falling 14-4. While the Cobras didn't get the win, they did start the game off strong, beating the Cavaliers 4-0 in the first period.
Carrabec's defeat dropped their record down to 2-7. As for Telstar, their win bumped their record up to 4-1-1.
Carrabec's pitching crew has a crucial task ahead of them: Telstar hasn't had any issues making contact this season, having earned a batting average of .352. It's a different story for Carrabec, though, as they've only averaged .180. Will they be able to contain Telstar's hitters?
Telstar was able to grind out a solid victory over Carrabec in their previous meeting back in April, winning 5-2. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Rebels since the team won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
