Godby had to skate by with only a three-point margin when they last took the court, which might have inspired the 34-point drubbing they dealt Madison County on Friday. The Godby Cougars breezed by the Madison County Cowboys to the tune of 70-36. The Cougars have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won five games by 22 points or more this season.

Godby's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Jaden Staten, who posted 12 points. The team also got some help courtesy of Devin Anderson, who had 11 points.
