The Memorial Roughriders scored the most points they've had all season to find success on Thursday. They took down Defiance 52-35. Winning may never get old, but Memorial sure is getting used to it with their third in a row.
Despite the loss, Defiance had strong showings from Caroline McDonald, who scored eight points along with 11 rebounds, and Samantha Hohenberger, who scored nine points. Those 11 rebounds set a new season-high mark for her.
Memorial's win bumped their record up to 4-2. As for Defiance, they still haven't won a game yet this season and fell to 0-8.
Memorial will head out on the road to face off against Fort Recovery at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Defiance will be home for the holidays to greet Bluffton at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
