The Hemlock Huskies have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won three games by 24 points or more this season. They blew past Vassar 61-35. The victory was nothing new for Hemlock as they're now sitting on three straight.
Several Vulcans players turned in solid performances, despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Bryce Brown, who scored eight points along with five rebounds. Brown set a new season high mark in blocks with two. The team also got some help courtesy of Madix Gorleski, who scored eight points along with five rebounds and three steals.
The win got Hemlock back to even at 4-4. As for Vassar, they still haven't won a game yet this season and fell to 0-6.
Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Hemlock will take on St. Louis at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Vassar, they will stay at home for another game and welcome Caro at 7:30 p.m. on January 3rd. Caro is looking to tack on another W to their three-game streak on the road.
