Conotton Valley is a perfect 10-0 against Malvern since April of 2021 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Tuesday. The Rockets will take on the Hornets at 5:00 p.m. Neither of those teams managed to put together many runs in their previous contests, so the offenses might be a little more motivated than usual.

Maddison Kelley spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: she surrendered only one earned (and two unearned) runs on four hits and racked up eight Ks. She has been consistent for a while: she hasn't given up more than one earned run in ten consecutive appearances.

At the plate, Conotton Valley saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Brooklyn Kelley, who went 2-for-3 with one triple and one run.

Meanwhile, Monday just wasn't the day for Malvern's offense. They came up short against Strasburg-Franklin on Monday, falling 19-0. The Hornets just can't catch a break and have now endured four losses in a row.

Malvern's defeat dropped their record down to 4-15. As for Conotton Valley, they suffered their first home loss, dropping their record down to 20-2.

Malvern's pitching crew has a crucial task ahead of them: Conotton Valley hasn't had any issues making contact this season, having earned a batting average of .396. It's a different story for Malvern, though, as they've only averaged .203. Will they be able to contain Conotton Valley's hitters?

Everything went Conotton Valley's way against Malvern when the teams last played back in April, as Conotton Valley made off with a 15-3 win. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Rockets since the team won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
