Even though Lake Clifton/Reach scored an imposing 62 points on Saturday, the Coolidge Colts still came out on top. Coolidge secured a 67-62 W over Lake Clifton/Reach. The victory made it back-to-back wins for Coolidge.
It was another big night for Quintin Cooper, who scored 27 points along with 5 rebounds. That makes it five consecutive games in which he has scored at least 25% of Coolidge's points. The team also got some help courtesy of Makiah Gray, who scored 16 points along with 6 rebounds.
Coolidge now has a winning record of 3-2. As for Lake Clifton/Reach, their loss dropped their record down to 0-1.
Coolidge will head out on the road to face off against Eastern at 7:30 p.m. on Monday. Hopefully Eastern focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up six last Monday. Lake Clifton/Reach does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
