Heartland took down Cedar Bluffs 64-20 last week, the largest margin of any game. Jordan Heinrichs threw for 108 yards and ran for 62 yards during the win.

McCool Junction's dynamic duo of Damon Kaliff and Alex Preslicka proved to be unstoppable against Pawnee City, as they were the top passer and receiver in the league this week. Kaliff threw for 226 yards and Preslicka had 146 yards receiving. Auston Calvert helped McCool Junction's passing attack out by catching 3 balls for 100 yards.
The Mustangs' dynamic duo of Kaliff and Preslicka proved tough for the Indians to stop, as they were the top passer and receiver in the league this week.
Kaliff put up the best numbers in passing as McCool Junction beat Pawnee City.
Allen Brand made the biggest impact on defense this week as Harvard lost to Loup City. The 6-foot-4 junior.
Tyler Brown was the best running back in the league this week. He ran for 99 yards on 5 carries as Heartland topped Mitchell Shepherd's team.
Preslicka was the best wideout in the league this week as the Mustangs bested the Indians.
McCool Junction's Kaliff and Preslicka have formed a dream team this season, leading D1 District 5 (8 Man) in both passing and receiving yards. Kaliff has thrown for 473 yards this season, while Preslicka, a 6-foot-3 receiver, has 15 catches for 393 yards. Erik Wetjen's team's Brown leads the league in rushing yards with 505.
The most important game in the league this week will be the match up between Bruning-Davenport/Shickley and the Mustangs. The Eagles comes into the matchup ranked second in the state, while McCool Junction ranks ninth.
