The Pinellas Park Patriots will challenge the Countryside Cougars at 7:00  p.m.  on Tuesday. Pinellas Park is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 6.7  runs per game  this season.
Pinellas Park will bounce into Tuesday's   contest after  beating St. Petersburg, who they had gone 2-7 against in their nine prior meetings. Pinellas Park walked away with  a   9-4  victory over St. Petersburg  on Thursday.
 Madison Wagner made a big impact while hitting and pitching. She  didn't allow a single  earned run while striking out six over seven innings pitched. She has been consistent  for a while: she hasn't  given up  more than two  walks in ten consecutive appearances. She was also big at the plate,  scoring a  run while going 1-for-3.
 In other batting news,  Ayanah Wilson was  incredible,  scoring a  run and  stealing two bases while  getting on base  in three of her four plate appearances. Another player making a difference was  Sophie Sokolowski, who  scored a  run while  getting on base  in all four of her plate appearances.
Meanwhile, Countryside got themselves on the board against Tarpon Springs on Tuesday, but Tarpon Springs never followed suit. They blew past the Spongers 9-0. The  win continues a trend for the Cougars in their matchups with the Spongers: they've now won four in a row.
Like Pinellas Park, Countryside also got a great game from a two-way player:  Kaitlyn Crouch. On the mound, she  didn't allow a single  earned run and  allowed only  one  hit over seven innings pitched. That one hit allowed gave  Crouch a new career-low. She was also stellar in the batter's box,  scoring a  run while going 3-for-4. The dominant performance also gave  her a new career-high in  RBI (three).
 In other batting news,  the team  relied heavily on  Elizabeth Frizzle, who  scored three  runs while  getting on base  in all five of her plate appearances. That's the most  runs  she has posted since back in March of 2024.  Lily Mandilk was another key player,  scoring a  run while going 1-for-5.
 Countryside  kept the outfield on their toes and  finished the game with 12  hits. That's the most  hits they've managed all season.
 Pinellas Park's victory bumped their record up to 5-6. As for Countryside, their  win (their first of the  season) made their record 1-9.
 Pinellas Park came out on top in a nail-biter against Countryside when the teams last played  on Monday, sneaking past  6-5. Does  Pinellas Park have another victory up their sleeve, or will Countryside turn the tables on them?  We'll have the answer soon enough.
