Basketball Recap: Forreston Skates Past Lamoille with Ease

It can be hard to translate regular season success to the playoffs, but Forreston had no problem doing just that on Monday. They simply couldn't be stopped as they easily beat the LaMoille Lions 68-35. The Cardinals have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won 11 matches by 20 points or more this season.

Defeat or not, LaMoille got some senior leadership from Brayden Klein and Tyler Billhorn. Klein en route to 20 points and three steals, while Billhorn almost dropped a double-double with 13 points and nine rebounds. That was a full 57.1% of LaMoille's points, marking the fourth time in a row Klein has posted more than a third of the team's points.

Forreston's victory bumped their record up to 20-12. As for LaMoille, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 7-25.

Coming up, Forreston will square off against St. Bede at 7:30 p.m. on Wednesday. LaMoille does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
