Bristol is 7-2 against Valley Forge Military Academy since April of 2015 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Monday. The Warriors will welcome the Trojans at 3:45 p.m. Bristol will be strutting in after a victory while Valley Forge Military Academy will be coming in after a defeat.
Bristol came out on top against Calvary Christian Academy on Saturday thanks in part to the team's impressive four-run sixth inning. The Warriors took their matchup against the Cougars 7-3. The Warriors haven't had any issues with the Cougars recently, as the game was their sixth consecutive win against them.

Hayden Scancella made a big impact while hitting and pitching. He looked comfortable on the mound, tossing two innings while giving up no earned runs off one hit. What's more, he posted four strikeouts, the most he's had since back in March. He was also solid in the batter's box, going 2-for-4 with two stolen bases and two runs.
In other batting news, Cole Guy was incredible, getting on base in three of his four plate appearances with three stolen bases, two runs, and one double. He has become a key player for Bristol: the team is undefeated when he posts at least two runs, but 2-5 otherwise. Another player making a difference was Eddy Diaz, who went 1-for-3 with one triple, two RBI, and one run.
Meanwhile, Valley Forge Military Academy was not able to break out of their rough patch on Wednesday as the team picked up their 23rd straight loss dating back to last season. They came up short against Calvary Christian Academy, falling 18-1.
Valley Forge Military Academy saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Vinicius Leite, who went a perfect 2-for-2 with one RBI.
Valley Forge Military Academy's defeat dropped their record down to 0-10. As for Bristol, their victory bumped their record up to 13-5.
Valley Forge Military Academy's pitching crew has a crucial task ahead of them: Bristol has hit smart this season, having averaged an OBP of .505. It's a different story for Valley Forge Military Academy, though, as they've only averaged .327. Will they be able to contain Bristol's hitters?
