The Girard Academic Music Program Pioneers lost against the Motivation Jaguars back in January of 2022, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. Girard Academic Music Program fell just short of Motivation by a score of 54-52. Girard Academic Music Program has not had much luck with Motivation recently, as the team's come up short the last two times they've met.
Despite the defeat, Girard Academic Music Program had strong showings from Christopher Jones, who scored 16 points, and Jadlin Rose, who scored 15 points. Rose scored a full 28.8% of Girard Academic Music Program's points, the second time in a row he's earned more than a third of the team's points. Jared Walker was another key contributor, scoring 7 points.
Girard Academic Music Program's defeat dropped their record down to 1-1. As for Motivation, the victory got them back to even at 1-1.
Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Girard Academic Music Program will take on Randolph Vo-Tech at 3:15 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Motivation, they will look to defend their home court on Tuesday against KIPP DuBois Collegiate Academy at 3:15 p.m.
